Title: Rotary Forge Electrical Upgrade
Synopsis:
DESCRIPTION: This procurement will be for electrical Upgrade that includes Replacing Rotary Forge 2.4kV and 480V unit substation, Sectionalizing and Feeder Station and 15kV Cables; covering cost of all parts, labor and equipment for subject procurement action. The project Range of Project in accordance with FAR 36.204 is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This procurement is estimated to be released on February 9, 2011, at which time all Specifications and solicitation documents will be released. This procurement will be 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. Any proposals from other than Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns will not be considered. One or more items under this acquisition are subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be evaluated by the agency. In order to be eligible for award, the successful offeror’s Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Certifications and Representations (ORCA) must be current. This solicitation will be issued electronically, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Upon release of the solicitation, it will be available on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil and will be listed under Watervliet Arsenal.
CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
